I would pay Ulises Martinez to come to my house and paint murals of maiz. Some of the most artistic murals I’ve seen to date. Caramba, dios mio!
I love his work, too! I discovered he also did the jaguar in my https://casita-colibri.blog/2020/07/09/these-streets-are-made-for-walkin/ blog post.
I like your blog. This photo is of a mural in Portland, Oregon, part of the Black Lives Matter art in the central city. Don’t you think it has a “Oaxaca feel”?

Dave Wells – Portlander here. Can’t see the mural you’ve posted. Where is it? Maybe meet you in the streets…Cynthia Smith
Thank you! Unfortunately, I can’t see the BLM mural you mentioned. ;-(
You write beautifully. Also, your photos are excellent. What type of camera do you use? Looking forward to your next blog.
Jacque, Thank you so much for reading and your complementary words! As for the camera, mostly I use a Canon PowerShot G7X, though the above images were shot with my iPhone 8, as I don’t usually take my camera to the market.
Good reading this postt
