It’s my favorite — a quintessential example of the Oaxacan ingenuity and creativity!
I’m so glad to hear the Oaxaca is taking Covid seriously. I’m disappointed to hear that Amlo is not.
AMLO is a very contradictory figure. However, don’t believe everything you read in the NYT. The, along with much of the US mainstream media, have an an anti-AMLO agenda. I love that hand washing station! Not only is it ingenious, as you say, but it’s also nicely decorated! Covid may be putting a damper on people’s lives, but it certainly doesn’t stop Oaxaca’s creativity and art!
Yes! Although I have to confess, inside the door there was a person squirting hand-sanitizer gel into everyone’s hands.
There is also one on Porfirio Diaz across from La Jicera.
Cool! Love the statement they are making.
Creative and low-tech! In the US we would have done something much more complicated, or thought it impossible without running water.
I have to admit, I relied on the person inside the door squirting hand-sanitizer gel into everyone’s hands.
