Pretty in pink on the streets of Oaxaca…
And, this doesn’t even include the pink and lime green of Correos de México (Mexican post office).

I just spent the last hour and a half reading your recommended blog”embracing the chaos”
Great stories about life in Oaxaca
Someday I hope to be more of a participant……….
Steve couldn’t wait another moment to book a flight for
July……if all goes well will see you for Guelaguetza
Friends who stayed at Golindrinas for DOD said closing has been postponed again “til March or another year”!!
Truly missing Oaxaca
Hope all is well with you both and definitely hope to see you in July!!!
Just noticed the “holbox” tag after my name
Must have added that while traveling 🙂
This pink, as seen on the bus and Catrina, is a special color, uniquely
Mexican. I brought home some skeins of yarn in this color, labeled-rosa mexicano fue-and there is nothing like it here. The closest colors are less saturated, not nearly as bright. It is not just pink, it is ROSA MEXICANO FUERTE!
Rosa Mexicano Fuerte? Love it!!! It’s definitely the pink half of the colors of MexPost. Hmmm… wonder what the lime green other half is named???
