The best gallery is the street

Yes, we know… ephemeral it may be; effective it is.

As do the artists of Gabinete Grafico, who bring their woodcut art to the streets.

And yesterday, Gabinete Grafico’s artists inaugurated a brick and mortar gallery at Calle de M. Bravo 216 in Oaxaca city.

Beautiful work!
It’s wonderful to be surrounded by art.
Hi Shannon-just discovered and enjoying your blog. A wealth of information. I wonder if you have, or know where I can get, info on Fat Tuesday in San Martin on the 28th. We have been here for a couple of weeks already and leave March 3, staying and I believe near you…we are near Basilica Soledad.
BTW we have a busy calibri feeder on our balcony back home in Vancouver, BC.
Gracias,
Ken V.
Nothing definitive re San Martín Tilcajete. Just get there in the late morning and follow the sounds of the band and guys running around with cowbells. There will be a “wedding” in front of the municipio and reception in the courtyard of a house. Most of all, have fun!
Thank you Shannon.
