Tired of climbing the hill every day? I like your new “hood”. Az is HOT and on fire. Be back to la Noria next month. Cuidate. David
I definitely don’t miss noise and the pollution from the buses as they climbed the hill.
When did you move girl ❓ I loved your apartment
it was so wonderful.
I moved three weeks ago. Although lacking the spectacular view, the new one is bigger and better!
It looks like a pretty big house so cool Shannon😉
The photo above was taken for the sign and isn’t my new casa.
The new house looks big? I love the color😏
YAY!!!
My sentiments, exactly!
Congratulations I thought that might be where you were headed when you mentioned moving. Your walking excursions have gone there fairly often lately, I think. That’s where I fantasize living, if I’m ever able to get a place in Oaxaca. Nice little set-apart neighborhood and yet walking distance to most places I’d go. Still, it must be bittersweet to leave your old nest.
Diane,
in Oakland, where weather and life are perfect at least for today.
It is a welcome change of scene and I haven’t looked back!
Felicidades ! Hope it has a rooftop terrace .
Yes it does!
how welcoming😍
It has a warm and welcoming small town feel.
Wishing you good times and much happiness in your new home!
Thank you!
Welcome to the hood.
It’s a great neighborhood!
¿What was the name of the previous barrio, please?
My previous apartment was in Centro.
I hope you’ll forgive someone as old as me taking a few moments to realise that SPIXL was you. I think Oaxaca was the giveaway. Did you get my email about Santa’s Toys? xx. Johnny
Hi Johnny, I’m sorry for the delay. I did get your email about Santa’s Toys and you are my list of friends I owe messages to. I’ve been swamped with unpacking, getting services hooked up, art and artesania hung (help needed due to concrete walls), landscaping the garden, spending 4 days in Teotitlán del Valle for the fiesta, and then hosting a gathering of visiting friends at my new casa Friday night. No rest for the weary! I will get back to you in the next day or two. I promise!
