Wow! These art genre takes my breathe away. Nice photos
The talent never ceases to amaze me!
Thanks for these wonderful photos. I really miss my travels to Oaxaca, it’s one of the most special places that I have ever visited.
I agree, Oaxaca is an amazing place! When the pandemic is in the rear view mirror, Oaxaca will still be here.
Always have loved walking around that neighborhood. We stayed in a house over there once that we always hope will open back up for rentals.
I will keep my fingers crossed for your return and stay in Xochimilco!
Thanks Shannon, appreciate the images online, and look forward to getting back to enjoy them in person.
No matter how long it takes for your return, Oaxaca will be here!
I recognize the man and woman in the last photo. They are on the balcony of the apartment we rented when we went to Oaxaca for the first time. Every time I walked past the living room slider, I got startled because I thought someone was looking in at us.
Wow, Sylvia! I didn’t realize it was an apartment building. We loved all the painted ceramics scattered around the garden. Do you know who the sculptor of the man and woman is?
Oh my goodness, stunning! The next to last one reminds me of how it feels to be in the states now, in Florida. The first one looks like paradise.
These are beautiful and lift my very soul today! Thank you for sharing all your beautiful experiences there in Oaxaca.
Thank you Francie, your words are encouraging!
So good to see the new murals and to remember Xochimilco.
The artists are helping to interpret and enlighten us during these challenging days.
