Shannon, if you see any mural art or other work that reflects the coronavirus theme (people or animals in masks or gloves or the effects of quarantine), please take a photo!
Suzy, I did a blog post a few weeks ago with masked images. https://casita-colibri.blog/2020/04/23/modeling-mask-behavior/
Thanks for these beautiful connections to our adopted city!
You are very welcome. Though the city is very different and museums and galleries are closed, we are still blessed with the art of the streets.
Wonderful! I’ve got a great mask from Guerrero that looks almost exactly like the one in the first photo, except it has mirrors for eyes.
I looked up Zempasuchil Studios and they do have an online presence, but it took a little while to find, as some of the results that showed up on a Google search led to apparently obsolete sites. Thanks for posting this. I love the street art in Oaxaca.

I, too, have a jaguar mask with mirrors for eyes! Several years ago, I met Kobe, one of the Zempasuchil artists, on a previous Panoramica walk. https://casita-colibri.blog/tag/jesus-kobe/
