Remember the night my Pitahaya (aka, Dragon fruit) blossom was ready for her close-up? Three months later, here she is…
Though there is fruit, flowers continue to put on their bloomin’ after-dark show.
Their beauty never ceases to enchant.
From terrace to table…
My version of “farm fresh.”
The many wonders of Oaxaca. Gracias.
I should probably have more fruit in a couple of months. Just sayin’… 😉
LOVE dragon fruit! Reminds me of my trips to Asia…
Thank you!

Fascinating the way plants have traveled and thrived in their new homes!
Pitahaya is known to cure constipation. Be careful with it.
Oh, yikes! Thanks, forewarned I am. 😉
Beautiful and so interesting! Farm Fresh, very cool…..
They obviously don’t need great conditions, as they are planted in shallow planter boxes, using less than great soil. Such are the conditions on the terrace. Gotta love cactus!
How beautiful! Only once did I try the fruit, and unfortunately the one sold to me was quite overripe and leaning toward disgusting. I’d like to give them another chance with one that looks as delicious as yours!
I should have more fruit in October, November, and maybe even December!
LOVE dragon fruit! Beautiful and so interesting!
It was yummy!
