Oh, who are the people in your neighborhood?
In your neighborhood?
In your neighborhood?
Say, who are the people in your neighborhood?
The people that you meet each day
It’s Friday and I wanted to introduce you to my aforementioned flower vendor. His name is Moises and he also sells sprigs of herbs.
Today I bought two bunches of agapanthus and one of romero (rosemary). And, the Sesame Street song, People in Your Neighborhood, keeps spinning around my brain and singing in my heart.
Well, they’re the people that you meet
When you’re walking down the street
They’re the people that you meet each day.
Makes my heart sing •••
Mine, too!
Thank you, querida Shannon, for this beautiful post….and all others.
I am very appreciative of your spreading the joy of our wondrous Oaxaca.
Abrazos,
Eshkie
Querida Eshkie, thank you for reading my blog and your lovely and encouraging comments.
Love your pictures.
Many thanks!
Excellent photos of Moises. We should point out that to make a sale he has to drop the load, untie it, sort though it and, at the end, wrap it all up again. Hard work…immotalized many times by Diego Rivera.
The load of flowers are HEAVY and he walks the neighborhood for hours!
Your posts are always so welcome! Just beautiful!!
Thanks, Francie! I hope you can return one of these days.
Hugs to Moises for his work and beautiful flowers.
