Beautiful. I like the way you see things, frame them with the camera. The church to the left is perfect, and even the tiny hints of civilization on the right contribute.
Diane, thank you so much! The changing vistas are food for the soul.
Shannon, I’d like to ask you something. Do loose dogs roam the colonias of Oaxaca the way they do in San Miguel de Allende? When I moved to this part of SMA 14 years ago, I walked every day. Now my blood pressure from dog fear has risen to over 200 and I can only leave the house if I step directly into a taxi. If you like dogs, you might not even have paid attention to their roaming the streets, but many thanks if you’re able to answer my question. I need to find a place where I can occasionally go and feel safe outside.

Yikes, that’s awful! There are some street dogs here, but even in the neighborhoods further from the city center, I have never felt threatened by them. They seem to be quite scared of people.
Thanks so much, Shannon. That’s all I need to know. I get nauseated and dizzy if I even see one, I appreciate your help.
