Given the barrage of bad, sad, depressing, and infuriating news these days, I’m finding it difficult to string together more than a few words. However, who needs words when Mother Nature is speaking from my terrace — succulents and cactus to the rescue.
Wishing all health, safety, and a bounty of beauty!
What a treat. And your photos are crystal clear and stunning. I’ve been finding much needed respite lately in my own tiny garden as well.

Thank you. Tending the garden really helps. Say hello to the Bay Area for me!
Thank you
You’re welcome!
Thank you for your lovely pictures! I, too, am spending time each day in my own “happy spot” surrounded by my plants and blooms. Sure beats the negativity and ugliness abounding in the world these days. I am so thankful for your posts, and others from the group of garden bloggers I follow… you all spread good will, kind thoughts and beauty. 🌻
Thank you for the kind and encouraging words!
Your wonderful, happy blog is our only link to our favorite retreat in July, August and September of each year. Without you, we would feel totally isolated. Sadly we have had to cancel our summer 2020 trip due to CORVID-19 and will enjoy Oaxaca through your beautiful words and photography. Thank you!
Oaxaca will still be here when it’s safe for you to return!
Life DOES go on!
Yes, it does! Btw, I just planted some lettuce, cilantro, papaya, and mystery seeds that I’ve had for a couple of years. How this librarian forgot to label them, I don’t know. 😉
What a wonderful variety of surprises!
Do you recognize the pink flower? It’s one of the 3 cactus plants in the little wrought iron stand that you and David gave me.
Oh how beautiful are your cactus flowers 😀 😀
Yes, they are! They always make me smile. 🙂
