Many of my View From Casita Colibrí regular readers have expressed concern regarding how the garden survived the move. I want to assure you, though it desperately needs landscaping, the plants are surviving and thriving in their new home.
Flor de Mayo
Night Blooming Cereus
Cayenne pepper
Crown of Thorns
Madagascar Jasmine
Buddha belly plant (Jatropha podagrica)
Methinks it is, in no small part, due to our daily late afternoon downpours. It is the rainiest rainy season since 2010 — at least that I can remember!
Wonderful !!! The crown of thorns at “mi” Posada Sta. María has the red variety; didn’t know that there was a white one. Is the queen of the night grown from seed or transplant?
¡¡¡ Disfruta en todo !!!
All your flowers look great – sounds like you are nicely settled!!
Michelle told me what she plans to do with the upstairs……1) – remove the water tank and build an other room there….2) – Get rid of he stairs and build an elevator there….we shall see.
Do so enjoying reading your posts – the move was so organized!! Glad the plants are happy in their new home. We continue to hope things go well re: covid, etc so we can travel to Oaxaca City this fall. ps – have no idea what the website below is – it filled itself in.

Wonderful color shots, we will miss your old place but enjoy your great rooftop garden plants.
So beautiful. Moving a garden is no small feat.
