I came out one morning to find buds had appeared on my night-blooming cereus.
As the days and nights passed, the blossoms grew and swelled.

Que Bonita ! Otro milagro de la naturaleza l Seriously ! 🙂
A cereus miracle it is! I hope spring has sprung up your way. 😉
This must me a relative of the orchid cactus, as the buds, “leaves,” and flowers look quite similar. It’s stunning and I’m glad you were there to see it!
I just discovered I’ve got 8 little cereus buds on the plant under the shade structure! By the way, there are several tiny new little peppers on your plant. 🙂
Absolutely fabulous!!!!
Spring has finally arrived here in Connecticut!
Still not real warm but at least the snow is gone!
¡Muchisimas gracias! Glad you are thawing out at long last. We have been having a “cereusly” weird March & April — temps in the 90s and mucha lluvia. Hope to see you down Oaxaca way in the near future!
It this is the cactus I think it is, the flowers on last only one night but the perfume lingers in your memory for a long time.
Yes, only one night and the perfume is sweet.
