Great video of song & narration with lots of good related learning topics ! Understand today is a holiday in Mexico, celebrating B’day of another fighter of another foreign Invasion, a son of Oaxaca and Mexico, Feliz Cumpleanos Benito Juarez !! y Viva la memoria de los San Patricios !!
Monday was one of those (US inspired, I think) 3-day weekend holidays. Benito’s real birthday is Friday, which I’m sure will bring cohetes in the early morning. 😉
I need not be Irish to feel huge pride for these brave men who assumed great personal risk to follow their conscience. I am proud of Mexico too fro recognizing their courage and contribution. I really appreciated this post Shannon.
