Yes, that is what makes me smile. However, Guelaguetza does raise some issues around exploitation and I may eventually post something about it. We shall see…
Great choice of the women, especially liked the older and younger people you included. Could you write a bit about the “second Guelaguetza” organized by the coalition groups? Is that still going on?
Thank you for your kind words! I especially liked talking to and photographing some of the older women. Yes Sección 22 of the teachers’ union is still doing a People’s Guelaguetza; this year from July 20 to 22. However, they were not easy for me to get to and I had already made plans for other events. Maybe next year…
