It may not be Moon Over Parador, but it was moon from my mirador…. The colors of last night’s sunset were spectacular, no matter which way one looked. It made for a beautiful full moon rising over the African tulip tree and rooftop tinaco of my old apartment.
Actually, the moon wasn’t officially full until 9:15 (CST) this morning, but the above was full enough for me!

That was a great view when we were there, full moon notwithstanding. Trying to plan a beach vacation to Zihua but the airfares from here are horrendous. Need to get back to Mexico!
View from this apartment is about 75% of my old one… but I’m loving the extra space! Oaxaca always awaits your return.

Que Lastima! United no longer flies to Oaxaca (or any other of the many Colonial cities they (Continental!) used to service…only DF, Guadalajara and the resorts…..so I’m going to Mexico City for a short visit in a few weeks….but wanted desperately to come to Oaxaca!
I just checked, as I need to make February reservations, and the United (formerly Continental) Oaxaca-Houston-Oaxaca is still flying. ¡Ojala!
