Sí, huevos divorciados! A little food porn to begin the day…
Early morning walk up to Hotel las Golondrinas yesterday morning for breakfast. Surrounded by the distinctive pottery of Dolores Porras, it was the perfect setting to meet Michael Peed, filmmaker of the documentary, Dolores Porras: Artista Artesana de Barro.
Say Hi To Michael for me!
Those eggs look scrumptious!
They were scrumptious! (Love that word.) Didn’t know you knew Michael… small world, it is… forwarding your message to him.
Thanks for mentioning the Dolores Porras film…I ordered it posthaste and got a note from Michael telling me it was being shipped…..also am working on coming to Oaxaca (working on an apartment) for a 2 or 3 weeks stay prior to joining a visit there by a group to which I belong (Los Amigos del Arte Popular) …I hope to meet you while there….maybe you could join me for lunch or dinner at one of my favorite places….or one of yours? Thanks again for your blog….Kay
Yes, Kay, let’s get together. When will you be coming?
My husband saw this photo and is very jealous of you right now. Huevos divorciados are his favorite!
My favorite, too! I don’t eat breakfast out very often, so it was a real treat.
We contacted los Golindrinas for rooms for DOD And Jorge says he is retiring and closing up!!!!what have you heard?
I don’t know anything more, though Michael said he was concerned about the possibility.
